A Thanksgiving to remember

My daughter and I were so lucky to be invited to stay with our housemate and her family to have Thanksgiving with them in her aunt’s house in Santa Cruz. After doing homework for some days, we drove there on Thursday in a car from a car share-company. If you need to have a car now and then within the state, I recommend this type of car rental. The pacific coast highway from San Francisco to Santa Cruz is an amazing way to enjoy the road. The best experience as exchangers must be to stay with Americans having Thanksgiving. This family did not like the cranberry so it was excluded. The turkey, mashed potatoes, green beans and pumpkin pie was delicious. We enjoyed the company, and time just went by like it should in holidays. The family had a lot of comfy bikes, and we biked along the boardwalk to the Lighthouse and the Natural bridges. We had the view to Monterey, and watched seals playing in the sea. They also had two dogs and a cat. The bike rides, the dogs, and a aunt that could teach the 12 year old a few magic card tricks made it almost better than Christmas holidays in Norway, according to the young one herself. We will always want to visit the super auntie and charming Santa Cruz again. Thank you Shannon and family.
