Back to School

SFSU_Campus_JPL_Library_Nov2012

So, I just went through my very first week at SFSU and things are already getting pretty intense! Things here are so different from my home University where there is one building and a small square of grass. Although it can be quite annoying when you’re late or class, I love the feeling of being in a small village for students. I have seen all kind people, I have tried different food notably at the farmer’s market (which you should definitely take a look at) on thursday, met very interesting teachers and heard people speaking many different languages… I don’t really feel like holidays are over because everything is completely new to me. And yet, I am starting to understand that holidays are indeed over because I’m already drawning uder the amount of homework. But the majority of my classes are really interesting so I am ok with it and I hope that if any of you feel overwhelmed by the quantity of work he will try to remind him/herself that he/she should enjoy these years when we can learn and reflect on interesting matters, because when school is over you might not have the chance to do so anymore. So my advice to you guys: look around yourself, try to talk to people, take interest in what your learning and enjoy every moment of this year that is going to be fantastic!
