One of the great things about being on exchange, is that often you can take courses that would not be available at your home school.

If you are about to start your exchange, or currently debating what to take for next summer, you should think about courses that are unique to SFSU.

I am a computer science major, but I knew that SFSU had a great film curriculum. Days before my semester started this fall, I got an email telling me about a 3D  animation course. I had never done 3D, cinema, nor animations, but I had tried a virtual reality demo last summer and I wanted to learn more about it!

3 months later, I’m now able to do basic 3D models, animate them and have been exposed to a completely different curriculum than mine. I’m very happy I took the course and would recommend that anyone try to see what SFSU has to offer that they perhaps hadn’t considered!
