13 Dec Favorite Spots #1: Ocean Beach

Staying here for almost half a year, I have made up my mind about which local spots I find most beautiful in this city. These are the places I find peace, energy and motivation for new weeks, no matter how cliché that might sound. I have these kind of places back home in Norway, and luckily I also found some here. I’ve decided to share them with you in these next blog posts.

Starting off: Ocean Beach. 

This beautiful beach is just a 10 minute run from my apartment. Having the sea so close is a new luxury to me, one which I will miss very much. It has been so amazing to be able to run down to a sandy beach in no time and spend some hours walking up and down, observing surfers, looking for seashells and listen to the waves. I’ve been to Ocean Beach in bright sunshine, thick fog and roaring rain – each time has been fascinating and given me so much.
