Golden Gate Bridge

So I’ve been in SF for almost a good 2 months now and I have yet to seen the famous red bridge… until today! It was a beautiful day so why not, perfect chance to go see the bridge, oh and there were also the Blue Angels flying around that day. If you didn’t know like I didn’t, the Blue Angels are the US Navy and Marine flight demonstration with fighter jets that fly above and around the bridge towards Pier 39. They did some awesome stunts where they fly in tight formation and do spins up into the air. They are so loud when they pass by it gives you an adrenaline rush!

When I got to the bridge it was around 2pm and of course you’ve got to account for the amount of tourists there are already crowding the space. Oh, also, eat before you get to the bridge! There’s two cafes when you arrive but they’re really small and not appetizing unless you’re into hot dogs and chilli dogs that is not one bit chilli at all! That was our first mistake, bring snacks! It takes a good 2-4 hours to walk the bridge and back because you’re constantly stopping to admire the bridge and taking photos and what not. We walked on the right side of the bridge to Sausalito, which is the other side of the bridge, but when we walked back, we walked on the bike lane which is the left side. People passing by kept telling us that we were on the wrong side but honestly, I just wanted to enjoy the sunset, ocean view, mountains and the clouds coming in. It was almost 5 then and the clouds were coming in fast! Half way back we were smothered with clouds and literally felt like we were walking on clouds, it was heaven. By the time we arrived back to where we started we couldn’t even see where we were walking it was so cloudy, wet and cold. That’s how fast San Francisco’s weather can change on you, within a couple of hours. This could’ve been the best experience EVER to witness the bridge on such a change in weather. (Photos for this post would’ve been ideal – still having issues)
