Hiking tips

Hey all,

A lot of exchange students say they want to explore and find new places. A popular weekend activity for many is therefore hiking. But hiking often involves a 5-hour one-way road just to get there. But it doesn’t have to! In fact, in a city like San Francisco with all its hills and peaks here and there, the hike is as close as ever. One of my favorite spots is The Moraga Tiled Steps and Grand View Park. It’s located at Moraga and 16th avenue, and bus 28 stops just two blocks away. There are a million steps to climb here (or at least it feels like it) so be sure to bring proper shoes.

The best time to get there is on a clear, sunny day. Or even better, on a beautiful sunset, in beautiful Sunset… I was here myself not too long ago and managed to fetch a killer shot on a magical night.
