How to live life.

Let me share this quote by Mark Twain with you. I read it every once in a while as it makes me take a closer look at how I live my life. It really works as a guiding star for me. Do I step out of my comfort zone every now and then? Do I try new things often enough? Am I pursuing things that make me actually happy? If the answer is yes, I keep on living like I did before until the next time I read the quote. If the answer is no, well, you can guess it: I step out of my comfort zone, do something new and strive for intrinsically motivated happiness.

“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” – Mark Twain
