30 Apr Let’s be touristic, just for a day!

I am sure that you already saw these groups of people biking around the Golden Gate Bridge with their black, heavy bicycle. Yes, that is what I am going to talk about.

At the beginning of the day, you need to go to a special shop to rent the bike: it went to the one on Beach Street. Once you have saw the security video and show the salesperson that you know how to ride (…) you can start your day.

The bicycle path starts from the North of San Francisco, goes to the Golden Gate, crosses it, goes through Sausalito and ends in Tiburon. Most of the people do the path until Sausalito but I did it entirely to Tiburon. The first part to the Bridge is a bite hard: there is a lot of people and a lot of rises. Then, it gets easier.

After an ice cream stop in Sausalito, you can take back your bike and enjoy the beautiful bike path by the sea, admire the big houses that you wish you had and end your day in Tiburon. From there you can take the ferry to come back to the city and believe me, you are more than happy :)
