Limey in Fog City: Dub City

Over the thanksgiving holiday I took the decision to splash out on a Golden State Warriors ticket for myself (I won’t say how much it cost, but it was a lot), and booked to go and see the Warriors play the Atlanta Hawks. As someone who has followed the NBA for a relatively long time, I can’t say how excited I was to go and watch one of the best teams ever play (especially with the addition of Kevin Durant over the off-season), and the game was far from a let-down. It was an extremely close affair, with the Warriors edging the Hawks 105-100 (in terms of excitement, this was exactly what I wanted), as well as this, Kevin Durant, Klay Thompson and Steph Curry (All the big stars) had good games, with all of them dropping over 20 points.

With regards to the experience off-the-court; it was pretty cool, everyone there just seemed really excited to be there, there’s a lot of cheerleading and entertainment on the Court when the game is on break. Like the Baseball, the price of food and drinks was off the chain, but this time I made the decision to splash out and get a pint (I mean, how many times do you get to watch the Warriors in your lifetime?).
