18 Dec Limey in Fog City: Wrapping up

As I write this post, I am midway through my final week at San Francisco State University, and I must admit I am pretty sad to leave. I’ve absolutely loved my time here in this beautiful city and its amazing culture. While out here I’ve made some amazing friends and had some pretty awesome experiences, I had wanted to visit the States as long as I can remember, and the country completely lived up to the great expectations I had. I’ve had conversations with so many interesting characters, and seen places I never thought I’d see (Boulder, CO was a big highlight).

I feel that studying abroad has genuinely changed me as a person (for the better), the experience of going and living in a completely different country, being far away from all of my friends and family has forced me to become a more independent person (not to sound cliched), and if you’re a prospective International student reading this, I can’t stress how much you should be looking forward to the experience, it really is as great as its made out to be. I can’t wait to come back and visit this wonderful country.
