Los Angeles

Last stop of our roadtrip was Los Angeles. It was really surprising to see how much the temperature differs among cities! It was almost 35C degrees, almost killed us.

We spent most of our time doing cheesy touristic stuff, like going to Hollywood and checking the Hollywood sign, walking in the Walk of Fame, seeing Rodeo Drive and Beverly Hills, etc. The other day, we spent the day in the beach. We hung out in Venice Beach, Muscle Beach and Santa Monica Pier, which were all amazing. Yes, the ocean was freezing cold, but we could still swim (or fought with the waves, I’d say) at the end of November! I even had sunburns. Crazy.

We also had a real Thanksgiving dinner with an American family, full of family members and friends! It was really good to see how people appreciate existance of the people in their lives, and their properties, etc. It was my first encounter with Thanksgiving culture and I really liked it. I’m definitely gonna suggest to do that back at home.
