This is the perfect place for you! If it is sunny outside (and not rainy as today..), grab your hiking shoes and your car to go there. It is such a beautiful place to visit for the day: you can actually do a loop in 3 hours (or more, depending on your speed of course).

We arrived after 2 hours of buses: yes, I know it sucks, cars make life so much easier here! But it is manageable, just grab a book, music or a friend, and it will be fine. Mount Tamalpais is located in Marin County, by car it is simple by just following the 101, and by buses, we need to take 2 buses from the Golden Gate Bridge.

When we arrived, we asked an employee to help us because we are clueless to which paths to take. He advices us to take one that will make us see everything: both the ocean and a view on San Francisco.

It was breath taking: you will see both the city on the horizon and green vegetations at your feet. Really beautiful! It took us approximately 3 hours to do the loop.
