Muir woods

I can really recommend this to anyone that want’s to enjoy the amazing nature in San Francisco over a day long hike. It is almost impossible to go there by public transportation, and if you don’t feel like renting a car you could simply go there by an Uber. We paid about $45 for a one way trip and split that four ways.

So, we went there around 10 in the morning and hiked until maybe 2pm, had some lunch and was ready to order our Uber home. But, the thing is apperently there is absolutely zero cell reception out there. Without reception, there is no way to order an uber. The local cafe was our hope, maybe they had wifi, but nope no luck.

We spoke to a lady who told us if we hike up a hill right next to the Muir woods visitors center we should get some reception, so off we went. On the top off the hill there was still zero reception so we where kind of stuck. We turned around and walked our way back down aging. Out of nowhere a Uber appears, we run to catch him and surely he could drive us back.

To be honest I have no idea how the whole thing would have ended if he hadn’t showed up, but we made it back to the city just in time to have an amazing thanksgiving dinner!
