One hell of a road trip – California Bay

Hey guys!

Welcome back to SF State… These first few days following the Spring break have been hard for everyone, but it is time to get back into the swing of things! Let me just dream of it a little…

These 10 days have been absolutely amazing, I’ve lived stuff and saw places I’ll never forget. I went on a road trip, in So-cal, Nevada and Arizona, with nine friends. Main stops: LA, Las Vegas, Grand Canyon, Death Valley, but this is the big overview… Let me tell you about this wonderful experience, that everyone visiting this area should live!

Going to LA! Before I got to the city of angels, we drove through the beautiful California bay. First step, Carmel-by-the-sea: we had lunch on the sunny beach, eating delicious homemade bagels, US style! The city is so cute and perfect it looks fake, like a Disney village. Then, we drove to Big Sur and admired the postcard-looking landscapes, listening to The Thrills’ song and doing karaoke in the car. I think this was one of the most pleasant rides I’ve had. We stayed at San Luis Obispo to sleep, lovely and quiet town with a nice shopping street. The next day, we continued our trip, stopping at Pismo beach and Santa Barbara. Both are really enjoyable fisherman cities, displaying a big woody pier. Unfortunately, the weather was cold and cloudy so I couldn’t sunbath and take out my sunglasses, but I still liked the vibe and the beautiful beaches.

To be continued…

‘Talk to you next time folks!
