13 Dec Places to Visit: LA

During my semester in San Francisco I have visited LA twice. Once with my family, and once with my best friend. LA is a huge and in my opinion sometimes very confusing city where it can be hard to now where you should go and what you should see.

Therefore I will try to help you out, here are my tips to what to do in LA.

1. Hollywood Boulevard
   You may love or hate it, but if your are in LA you definitely need to see. Spend some hours shopping Oscar souvenirs and spotting your favorite celebrities on the Walk of Fame.
2. Guided Star Bus Tour
   Because LA is so big, it can be hard to get around and to know what is where. The guides on the tourist buses know there way around, where the celebrity’s live and can tell you all you need to know about important film and music venues in LA.
3. Silver Lake
   Silver Lake is a hip, cool area that is perfect to visit when you get tired of Hollywood and celebrities. It has a lot of cute cafes, cool vintage stores and a very different atmosphere that the rest of LA.
4. Griffith Observatory
   Driving there from downtown LA takes about half an hour, and it is really worth it. The view from Griffith Observatory is spectacular, you really get to see the city from above.
