13 Dec Places to Visit: Yosemite

My first trip outside of San Francisco this fall was to Yosemite. The beautiful nature park really took my breath away, and it is the place I think I have heard most people say that they really loved.

I went there by car, it is about a 4-5 hours drive from San Francisco, depending on traffic. I was only there for one day and spent the day hiking in the most popular area called The Valley.

I went there in early October, but the people who know the area well say that it is most beautiful during spring. Some of my friends has visited Yosemite during the winter, and according to them a snowy Yosemite can also be quite beautiful.

I would really like to go back to Yosemite and to see more of the beautiful nature. It is a great place to visit if you just want to get away from the city for a couple of days.
