Roller coasters at Six Flags

Fan of sensation and high speed? Then Six Flags is the perfect place for you! The theme park is located in Vallejo, a good 2.30 hours from San Francisco. To be honest, the way there was really long: you have to take the Muni, the Bart and the bus (but 1.30 hours, so you might just take an Uber – faster, easier and at the end cheaper).

The park is not as big as I was expected: less than 8 for high speed and sensation, and much more for kids and families. At the time of the season, a lot of attractions are closed especially the ones with water (which I was looking forward!).

I was kind of disappointed to be honest: the price is absolutely not worth it – 60$ and it was on sales (originally around 80$). Everything is made for you to spend money: lockers (2$ per hour) because you can’t bring your crossed bag with you ; outside food is not allowed so you have to buy there.

Moreover, you have to do the queue for everything and it is pretty long: at the end, you can’t do all the attractions you want.

One advice: purchase the Fast Pass, your money will be worth it as you’ll be able to do everything you want!

But go there, it’s still a cool experience and Six Flags is famous all around the US!

Enjoy ;)
