Santa Barbara was a city that I’ve always wanted to see, because I heard that it looks just like where I am from, Antalya. It was always a thing that I “must-do” when I’m in the US, that suggested by my friends back in Turkey.

So, finally, I had a chance to see it! We only had 1.5 days there, but it was still beautiful to see. In our first day, we didn’t have any hope but we still managed to catch the sunset! I was so glad because it was really just like my city, and since I’ve missed it a lot, I was happy to be in Santa Barbara. I even had a chance to record a time-lapse of the sunset with my GoPro! That’s my favorite thing to do, since it’s beautiful.

Santa Barbara was quiet and peaceful city, we went to Clock Tower and had a chance to see the city from above, which showed us that it worths going to Santa Barbara. After that, we went to the beach, chilled, had a walk in the marina.. It was a great experience.

I’m really glad that I had a chance to see it, and I really liked it! It helped my homesickness a little bit, because it was almost as beautiful as my home city.
