Santa Cruzin’

My pioneering spirits have led me outside of San Francisco. All the way to the distant land of Santa Cruz. All packed into a fifteen seater mini van my friends and I upped and left the house ready for a weekend of new experiences. On our way to Santa Cruz we drove down the coast, as the sun struck the glittering sea and dolphins (no I’m not kidding) followed us down the coastline (are you for real America?). Lounging on the sun warmed beach was an interesting experience, no sooner had you relaxed into the hot sand when the over excited screams of over stimulated children and the fumes of greasy food wafted their way over to you. Having decided to move away from the boardwalk I went for a relaxing swim, only to be immediately K.O’d by an unexpected wave. After a long day revelling in the Californian sun we squashed back into the van and made our way home. The journey down the dark highway with the sea fog rolling in was eerie to say the least. I was convinced I was in the start of every horror movie ever. Thankfully we made it home without meeting any supernatural forces.
