11 Dec Sequoia National Park

I’ve seen great national parks here in the US, but I can definitely say that Sequoia is way more different than others, even though there are not many things to see there.

We were amazed by the giant forest, it was the only thing to see unfortunately, but still, we are glad that we’ve seen it. If you are planning to go there, I’d say that a day is more than enough for Sequoia; however, our first day was really foggy so we couldn’t go into the national park, so it was really good that we had planned to spend 2 days in Sequoia!

We hiked to Moro Rock, went into the Giant Forest and have seen the giant Sequoia trees, including the General Sherman Tree. There were roads going under huge trees and huge rocks! One feels so small in that park.

Look at our picture with the 2200-years-old Sequoia tree!  Even though the guy who took the picture couldn’t include the whole tree, you can still imagine how big it was!

We really wanted to see a black bear there, because Sequoia is famous with the wildlife. The only thing we could see was chipmonks. It was sad, but still Sequoia was a great experience in general.
