SF Walking tours

San Francisco has so much history that it is almost impossible to know all of it. A fun and relatively inexpensive way to learn more are the free walking tours that are offered by different websites. The guides are usually volunteers, are extremely knowledgeable, and are only paid what you deem fit.

I have been on a couple and have gotten great insight into the different neighborhoods of the city. Some of the guides are rather traditional, while others take a more experimental approach. One of the guides I had in the Castro/Mission district had his ukulele with him and would sing at certain places which really added to the experience.

Here are the links to the ones I have tried out and enjoyed:

But there a tons more to choose from, so get out there and explore the city in the time we have left!
