21 Nov Status Update: Not Long Left

So far I’ve really been enjoying my stay here in the states… really as I say that theres only a couple weeks left of my exchange/study abroad program. It flew by way too fast and I was prepared for that, people that had been on exchange already gave me a heads up that this was going to happen, I thought to myself.. yeah right 5 months is a LONG time… and now were down to a month left! There’s still Thanksgiving on the way later this week which I’m excited about but no one has planned anything. As always, we do things spontaneously.

My best friend from back home is coming in the next two days, I’m so excited to see him, thank god I’ve got the week off school because he’s only staying for 3 days and then I catch up with him in NYC!

Thinking back on my stay here, I actually haven’t been to many places.. The Alcatraz, Muir Woods, Redwood Forest, Yosemite… other parts of Cali. It really doesn’t bother me, it’s just an excuse to come back. Most importantly it’s the friends I’ve made on this journey that matters most to me, the tourist attractions will always be there but the people you meet along the way won’t.
