Hi!

I have already been here in San Francisco for 2 months. Something that hit me is the health insurance at SFSU. It’s very important that you have a good insurance when you arrive to a new country, because it differ so much between countries. In Sweden we have a very good insurance and healthcare is free for all Swedish citizens, therefore we don’t think that much about the expenses for healthcare.
Before I arrived to USA, the most important thing was to get a good insurance! It can be so expensive if you get sick and need healthcare here.

I would really recommend SFSU’s health insurance!

I had a lot of trouble with my stomach a few weeks ago. I went to the school’s doctors and I was pleasantly pleased. Everyone was so nice and helpful. I was worried that my visit and all medicines would cost a lot, but because of the school’s insurance, it cost almost nothing.
