Tacos of SF

Since I got to San Francisco, taco and Mexican food in general has gained a new meaning to me. Pre SF, I thought Mexican food meant that boring, tasteless taco-kit every Norwegian make at Fridays. But no. Taco in San Francisco is something more, it’s an out-of-this-world food experience. The sad thing is that I won’t be able to enjoy “Norwegian” taco anymore when I get home. The good thing is that I will share my favorite Mexican places with you:

Tacolicious

Why? A cool, affordable taco place with new exciting flavors!

What to order? Try something else than just the regular taco, this place

La Urbana

Why? This place must be my favorite! Tacos for $3 each, and aaall the kinds of meat and veggies are delicious. Also very convenient location if you are going to a concert at The Independent, which is right across the street.

What to order? As many $3 tacos as you can eat!

La Taqueria

Why? One of Mission’s many authentic Mexican places. Fantastic food to a very good price.

What to order? I think most of the food is good, so you won’t be disappointed. Just know that you will need napkins, this is a bit greasy!

Hecho

Why? Slightly more fancy place, but still affordable and the staff is very nice. The place is quite big, so this is the place to go if you wanna fit a certain amount of people.

What to order? My dad was very happy about his enchiladas, I had tacos and was as usual super happy.

El Techo

Why? One easy reason – the rooftop. Even though the food is not the best I’ve had to be honest, this view is worth the money anyways.

What to order? Uhm, Mexican?

Would you rather eat burgers or breakfast? Check out this and this
