Thanksgiving break road trip day 1/2

DAY 1/2

During Thanksgiving break, me and my roommate went on a huge road trip. We got on a bus to Las Vegas and spend the night there.

The real trip started off the next morning. We drove from Las Vegas to Sedona. Sedona is a city in Arizona, and is known for its red sandstone formations. The formations glow in orange and red when illuminated by the rising or setting sun. Sedona is also a very cute small city, the perfect place to have lunch – which was what we did. After having lunch, we visited Seligman, the birthplace of the historic route 66. Our last stop that day was the Petrified Forest National Park, where we also visited the Painted Desert. We slept in a hotel in Gallup, a city in New Mexico.
