The foggy Saturday by the Golden Gate Bridge

Hi there, another post is here!

We decided to rent a car on Saturday morning to go hiking to Mt Tamalpais. In the morning we discovered that all the rental companies don’t have any cars available (because of Valentine’s, President’s and the long weekend). Hertz offered us ONE car per ONE DAY for $120. What did we say? NO WAY!

We rather took the bus which took us to the other side of the Golden Gate Bridge and spent the day there. We ended up walking towards Rodeo Beach where I saw the BIGGEST waves ever.. I recommend this trip to everyone. You just take the bus 76x from downtown and it will drive you straight to the Rodeo beach OR you can walk as we did from the Golden Gate towards the beach. Which is not more than 11 kilometers.. Take drinks and food with you, there is no place to buy it. The bus goes every Saturday, Sunday and holiday from approx. 9:30 am until 5:30 pm.

What else I can say about being in San Francisco? You are trapped without the car. It is so far anywhere you want to go.

Have a great week! Lucy
