The French girl is missing her bread and cheese…

Yes, bread is really important in the French culture: it is not a cliché!

We are basically eating our baguette every day: at every meal if possible. I do personally. And I really miss it.

Here, bread is really over-priced and sometimes, I’m even doubting it is fresh bread. Back in Paris, I go to my local bakery every day: the owner even became a friend of the family as we go every single day.

Here, it is way different. It is not part of the culture to eat fresh baguette: maybe white bread, and I’m not even sure about that.

So I decided I’d treat myself, once at least, with some really good bread that will remind me of home. I discovered Arsicault Boulangerie in Richmond District and I was not disappointed at all!

I treated myself with a good baguette and pain au chocolat: it felt sooooo good, I’m not gonna lie!

Even if you’re not French, go there, check it out if you want to discover the french traditions and pastries :)
