23 Dec Tip #8: Travel whenever you can

I’ve already mentioned Seattle, but during my semester in San Francisco I went to several other locations throughout the U.S. Seattle was just mentioned because it was especially amazing.

Still, travel whenever you can. Weekends in San Francisco are really fun, but don’t spend every single weekend in the same city. I’ve been to five states this semester, an ocean of cities, and I don’t regret travelling to any of them.

I visisted friends in San Diego, got a smell of Los Angeles, spent Thanksgiving with a newfound friend and his family in Sacramento, relaxed in Las Vegas, saw the lights in Phoenix, and ate Mexican food in Mexico.

There is still so many places in the U.S. I would love to visit, see, eat my way through, or just stay in for a week. I didn’t get the chance to visit Texas, Austin in particular, I had to skip Portland, and I did not prioritize going to New York.

But in general, just travel and see stuff when you’re in San Francisco for an extended period of time.
