23 Dec Tips for upcoming San Franciscans in 10 blog posts

One amazing semester gone, I’m already back home in Norway to celebrate Christmas. This blog was supposed to be updated every week during my semester, instead I’ll just post ten blog posts in a row now. What is the best way of doing that? Tips and tricks, sprinkled with small summaries of my own adventures.

I’ll start with my first tip: Just attend as many social events as you can, be it through IEEC or private arrangements.

I’ve met tons of people this semester, but I’ve met many more through travelling to Santa Cruz, Yosemite, and Lake Tahoe – to mention some – with large groups of students. The glamorous life of sharing a room, and even a bed, with strangers is fun, and gets exponentially more fun when everyone is drunk etc.

You get to see stuff, meet people, taste different food, and just have fun from Friday until Sunday night. Then it’s back to San Francisco for more fun, even though you have to stop by school once in a while.
