30 Nov Welcome To Love Potion!

My Burning Man journey seems to never be ending and it is great! The thanksgiving break gave me the opportunity to reach out to the people I met in my BM camp and take time to get to know them better. Love Potion is a group of people that combine their passion for building things, technologies and arts all at once. Their Art Car, called the Amphora”  is very impressive and intrigued me since I first saw it on the Playa. In  summary it is ” a 24′ school bus is completely surrounded by a 32 foot long 23 foot tall bottle of swirling love potion. Aluminum welded frame with translucent panels of Rowlux (multi lensed effect film) 10,000 programmable LED’s transform the Rolux into a moving swirling mass of multicolored liquid and many other animations.”  You can see videos and get more information about the Amphora here!

The workshop for the art car and other similar peace of arts such as the Trancender and other welding project is located in Oakland. I had the chance to spend some time there, learnt welding, played with some geeky things and also attend one of the Burning Man Funding party with these beautiful people that I’ve adopt as my new family.
