23 Feb Where to buy fresh fruits and vegetables in San Francisco

When i came to San Francisco i made a pact with myself that I would eat healthier. I live in Parkmerced close to SFSU so I get most of my groceries from Trader Joe’s because it is the closest grocery store. The fruit and vegetable section at Trader Joe’s is okay but I wanted more variety so  a roommate of mine took me to Sunset Supermarket on Irving Street. They have a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables at really affordable prices. I have developed a healthy addiction to Bok Choy. If you love making green smoothies like i do, then this place is amazing because they have so many greens to choose from and the best part is all of it is super affordable. I cannot speak on the other items in the store because I only shop in the fruit and vegetable section. I do a weekly run to Sunset supermarket and that is sufficient for a week.
