Wineries, fish and Sausalito

Hi everyone!

This week end was a bit special for me because my landlords invited me on a trip to the wine country. We spent one day in Windsor and we went visiting the Francis Ford Coppola winery. It was a beautiful place (even if it was raining) with a huge swimming pool, a patio and obviously the vineyard. Inside de winery there is a sort of museum with pieces that had been used in Francis Ford Coppola’s movies. Its was a great place that must be enjoyable in spring!

The second day we decided to go back not far from San Francisco and we stopped at Sausalito. First we ate at the restaurant “Fish” on the port of Sausalito. The place is really cute and original, the view is great and the food (mostly done with fresh fish) is just delicious ! Then we went to the little city and marina of Sausalito. It really looks like an european little city with little shops and restaurants. It was a beautiful place and when you arrive next to the ocean you can envoy the wonderful view of San Francisco and the bay bridge. Again, the weather was very bad so I really think to go back with a sunny weather! You can cross the bridge to go there but you can also take the ferry, which can be another way to discover this part of the Bay Are.

Have a nice week!
