Antelope Canyon

This Canyon is only just about 15 minutes by car from the horseshoe bend, so these two should be combined for sure.
We knew from friends that this place wasn’t going to be for free. But apparently there are two different parts of the canyon. There are tours in both the lower and upper Canyon, which cannot be combined unfortunately. We chose the upper Canyon, which had a price of $48 – including going by Jeep through the desert and a guided tour inside the Canyon. The lower Canyon is a bit cheaper ($32). We arrived quite late and had no idea that we should have purchased tickets a few days ahead. At 1 PM when we arrived the lower Canyon was already sold out. But I believe it would have been to dark down there anyways. I think people should try to go there as early as possible to get the perfect light (including the upper Canyon).
I liked Antelope Canyon very much, and though the money was well spent here compared to the skywalk bridge. My advise is to book a few days before going there and to book a tour before 2-3 PM at least. Our tour was at 2 and we managed to get the last good light in the caves. I also think both the upper and lower Canyon will be equally pretty!
