Birthday weekend in Las Vegas

There it finally was.. my Birthday weekend! Las Vegas Baby! After watching all the Ocean’s movies back in the days, Las Vegas was always on my bucket list and here I am (after almost missing the flight but that is another story.. uuuff)! What better way to start off the reunion of all my Swiss friends from Long Beach and Orange CA with another burger at the airport, with a beer and some Fireball shots in the Hotel before heading directly to partying?!

I will skip all the meals because it was almost burgers only.. omg eating healthy is kinda hard here! Whatever, after a very short night, I put on my avocado swimming pants and headed off to the Wet Republic pool party. Back at it again.. at 38°C in the blazing sun while having fun in the pool. Few minutes later we met Steve Aoki or should I say #fakeaoki?! Haha there was literally a guy, acting and pretending like he was him. Of course I had to take a picture with this funny guy anyway! #touristnr1
The same night we went to the Chainsmokers live gig and danced the entire night until my knees started to give up their service haha. I knew I had the recover a bit during the next day while some of us managed to get some super expensive tickets to the Calvin Harris Day pool party again at Wet Republic. For me, my next bucket list point was ready to be crossed out! I went to a shooting range in Vegas (I wasn’t in the Swiss Army and therefore had never shot a gun). After feeling like being a part of Call of Duty we went back for dinner and redressing for going out again. With the sunrise we said good night to Vegas. 😊

After a even shorter night, the last day was our sightseeing day. Finally, I could enjoy the play of water in front of the Bellagio like in Ocean’s Eleven where we later went for our gamble night! Was a lot of fun playing Roulette while imagine the movie shot. We ended up super rich by cashing out $ 5.50! haha

This weekend was super crazy and my body hated me for sure (also no burgers for the next week!!) There was a lot more happening than it’s covered in this blog but I rather skip some details. 😉

My advice for you is, that if you plan to go to Las Vegas is for sure the Wet Republic pool party! You definitely will also need a promoter to get access to free entries and guestlists, otherwise it will be hella expensive! Hit me up if you need a connection.

Cheers,
Ben
