27 Nov Christmas in SF
Hi there fellow IEEC’ers!
As we are entering the month full of holidays, we need to spend our merry time well! Hence, I decided to write this blog to inform you guys of all the fun things you can do this december specific.
- Go ice skating on Union Square Ice skating here will give you the best views of the Christmas Tree and the Macy’s. If there is one rink you will visit, it should be this one!
- Look at all the adorable, adoptable cats and dogs in the Macy’s windows
- Ice skate in Golden Park
- See the Embarcadero lit with 17,000 lights
- Visit the huge lit Christmas trees (and palmtrees!) at Pier 39 & Union Square
- Take a winter walk around Union Square Union square is super cute to walk around now. Not only should you go into the Macy’s to see the holidays lane, there are a lot of artists performing live and all the lit up trees just make everything look so christmassy.
- Watch “Drag Queens on Ice” (dec 6) At Union Square, the fiercest drag queens will take over the rink. Be there or be square!
- Santa Con (dec 8) Do I need to say more?
- Watch Love Actually with your friends
- Watch a lighted boat parade (dec 14, Fisherman’s wharf)
- See Fireworks explode over the Bay
Hopefully you get to explore some of these options in your last months (or if you have the entire year here, enjoy!)
Love,
Jules
