Classy As […]

As the brainchild of the hippie movement, the city of bands like Green Day and Jefferson Airplane, and filled to the brim with artistic types San Francisco holds almost too much to offer when it comes to live music and art shows. Luckily the city happily offered us two of my favorite activities blended perfectly into a night of live music, live painting, an exhibition and DJs . Titled “Classy as F*…” the night was, predictably, held in Mission.

With a door fee of $6, an all ages policy (21+ at the bar), and the event running until 1am – it all seemed a pretty good deal! A plethora of different styles of live music took the front room, with art hung neatly on the walls, while the students appreciatively got into full-on dancing (it was hard not to!). Sliding through a door at the side of the stage we discovered live painting taking place, alongside more music – this time from a number of different DJs.

Whilst I was almost too busy having fun to capture the evening, here’s a few quick shots! :

Live art in the back room

Main stage in the front room (well, half a stage…in the interval – too busy dancing the rest of the time!)

Third room – DJ #2

Snapshot of the cool exhibition in the front room.

Hope you all enjoyed what San Francisco has to offer this weekend.
