09 Dec Concerts in San Francisco (part 2)
A while ago I wrote a blog posts on the concerts I went to during my time in San Francisco. Back then I wrote that the only concert I was anticipating was Natasha Bedingfield’s concert. Since then I have been to her concert but have also visited a few others. In this blog post I’ll discuss these concerts!
Natasha Bedingfield
Natasha Bedingfield’s concert was probably my favorite concert I ever went to. The concert was on November 3 in The Fillmore. I had a great spot all the way in the front. The opening act was Linda Perry, from 4 Non Blondes. Her new album ‘Roll with me’ was just released so she played many songs from this album, but she also played her classic songs. I’m sure everyone knows ‘Unwritten’, ‘Pocketful of Sunshine’ and ‘These Words’.
Julia Michaels
On November 13 I went to Julia Michaels’ concert, also in The Fillmore. Her opening act was Rhys Lewis. Julia Michaels played all of her hits, like ‘Worst in me’, ‘Heaven’ and ‘Issues’. She is a really good live performer so I really enjoyed the concert.
New Politics, The Mowgli’s and Plain White T’s
Just a week after the last concert I went to another one :). This time New Politics, The Mowgli’s and Plain White T’s, again in The Fillmore. Most famous are probably Plain White T’s with their song ‘Hey There Delilah’. This concert was really nice and I, again, had a great spot near the stage. This venue, The Fillmore, is a very nice spot for concerts.
Jaden, Willow and ¿Téo?
On December 10 I will be going to Jaden and Willow Smith (yes, Will Smith’s children) and ¿Téo? (a new age artist). Jaden’s music mainly consists of rap, while Willow’s music is PRB&B. The concert will be in The Warfield. I have never been there before, but I am very excited for the concert.
Ariana Grande
On December 18, Ariana Grande will be performing in the Chase Center. She is currently on her Sweetener Tour. I know her concerts are always very spectacular, so I can’t wait to see her perform.
