Desserts of SF

In my last food-blogging post I will be talking about something that’s close to my heart: Dessert. I can’t help it, the habit of something sweet after dinner is hard to get rid of. Therefore, let’s embrace the meal dessert, and try out these very-sweet dessert places that will definitely leave you with a sugar high.

  • Ghirardelli Chocolate on Market

Why? Try out San Francisco’s famous chocolate on this café downtown. They are even open until 11.30 pm, so this place is good if you, like me, are having evening cravings.
What to order? Their different varieties of sundae ice creams topped with caramel, hot chocolate fudge and so on should do the job.

  • Easy Breezy

Why? My all-time favorite, this one. If you like frozen yoghurt, this is the place to go. Self-served, different flavors every week and a very nice staff. Last week I got a free fro-yo portion, that is how nice they are.
What to order? I looove their lime-basil flavored fro-yo topped with fresh strawberries and kiwi.

  • Mr Holmes Bakehouse

Why? This cute bakery is a must if you like pastries and are ready to taste some new, original versions of old classics. Go, get baked in San Francisco!
What to order? They are famous for their “cruffins”, a contemplation of muffin and croissant. Each day the cruffins have a different filling. The day I was there they had a pomegranate filling, which may not sound that good, but it was a-mazing. So I’m pretty sure you’ll be good whatever you order.

  • M&M’s

Why? Well, this is not a place, nor a real dessert I guess. But as American candy is mostly disgusting, I feel like M&M’s should be a part of this list. It is the best American candy there is!
Which one to choose? The original ones are of course great, but over here I’ve also gotten the taste for the crunchy type and the ones filled with salty pretzel. Mmmm.
