09 Sep First day in San Francisco

Hi! My name is Malin and I’m 21 years old exchange student from Sweden. I will studying here at San Francisco State University for one semester.

I have already been in San Francisco for a month and I completely love it! It’s still hard believing that I’m actually here. I have never been in USA before and San Francisco felt so interesting with all the different culture and of course the high hills that everyone talks about.
There are so many new impressions from the school, city and from all the people who live here.

Already the first day I felt so welcome. IEEC organized a picnic at Dolores Park for all the exchange students. It was a great way to get to know new people and discover a small part of the city. The park was so wonderful! I really recommend going there. A perfect place to relax, just read a book and enjoy the beautiful view.

The best of all is that there is always nice weather in Castro where Dolores park is located.
