08 Sep First impression. 1/12

Hi! I just wanted to introduce myself before writing my blogposts this semester so that you get a picture of the girl behind them. My name is Magdalena, but you’re free to call me Magda or Maggie or whatever comes to your mind when(and if) you see me. I am 21, soon to be 22, years old and was born and raised in Sweden but I’ve got Macedonian heritage. Macedonia is a small beautiful country in the Balkan area. Therefore I have traveled a lot in Europe but I have never been to the US, and that’s one of the biggest reasons I chose to study abroad here. The reason I chose SF state is that it is something with San Francisco that makes me feel like: wow what a city. And I wasn’t wrong. Today I’ve been here for exactly 1 month and in my first blogpost I want to show you my first memories from my point of view in San Francisco.

A beautiful part of Castro!

My conclusion is that San Francisco is beautiful by night as well as day, when it’s sunny and even when it’s foggy. For example, I love the characteristics in the Castro area, the lovely view over the town from twin peaks, I love super duper burger and so on. I look forward to experience more of this wonderful city.
