01 Nov IEEC Movie Nights (continued)
A while ago I wrote a blog post on the IEEC Movie Nights. By now I’ve visited some more of these movie nights, which I will discuss in this blog post.
The Autopsy of Jane Doe
On October 17 the movie shown was Halloween-themed. The movie was called the Autopsy of Jane Doe and was about a father and a son, both coroners, who examine the body of an unidentified woman (a Jane Doe). During the examination they experience all sorts of supernatural phenomena. This was a horror movie and I must say it was quite scary.
Train to Busan
On October 22 the movie we watched was Train to Busan, a South-Korean zombie movie. When a zombie apocalyps suddenly breaks out, a business man and his young daughter try to stay safe on a train to Busan.
Dear Ex
On October 30 we watched Dear Ex, a Taiwanese movie. The movie focuses on San Lian, a woman devastated when her ex-husband left his insurance payment to his male lover Ah Jie. She brings her 13-year old son in to fight for their rights and get the insurance money back. San Lian’s son, however, decides to stand on Ah Jie’s side.
