As an exchange student In California there is a worldwide renown destination that you definitely have to visit: Las Vegas. The city is known for its fascinating hotels, gambling shows and non-stop entertainment. But is it really worth it?

Honestly, I think if you have the chance to go you should definitely do so, I mean how often do you have the opportunity the visit Vegas. Though the city has quite an exhilarating reputation I found it was quite boring, when I wasn’t partying. I thought the hotel lobby’s which are all located along the strip of the city are filled with old people that are smoking and drinking while they are losing thousands of dollars (mostly). One evening when I was walking through the city I saw a young man win 23.000 dollars, and I really can’t imagine the dopamine rush he had in that moment.

If you go be sure to check out the different iconic hotels as well as their shows which can range from pirate fights to the awakening ancient Egyptian pharaohs. Definitely one of the cooler cities I’ve been too.
