My favorite restaurants in San Francisco

An activity I really enjoy is going out to eat. Fortunately San Francisco has great restaurants. In this blog post I will talk about some of my favorite restaurants.

Pakwan

Pakwan is a Pakistani and Indian restaurant with multiple locations in San Francisco. They are located on O’Farrell Street, 16th Street and Ocean Avenue. Pakwan serves tasty food for a very good price. My favorite dish there is beef kabob wrap, which is kabob, chutney and onions wrapped in nan bread. This dish only costs $8,99. I also really like saag paneer and the saag chicken. My friend really loves their chicken tikka massala.  If you don’t feel like cooking, you can order their food on Uber Eats or GrubHub or get take-out.

Amici’s East Coast Pizzeria

Amici’s has two locations in San Francisco, one in Marina and one in SoMa. Amici’s is mainly known for their pizza, but they have an extensive menu with sandwiches, salads and desserts. I have only tried their veggie pizza and pollo pizza but both were really good. Amici’s is not as affordable as the other restaurants in this blog post, but still worth a visit.

Blaze Pizza

The great thing about Blaze Pizza is that they are located in Stonestown Galleria, the mall next to SFSU. I like to go there after class or in between classes. At Blaze you can either customize your own pizza or choose one of their default pizzas. The pizzas have a very thin crust and are great portions: not too much and not too little. Besides, they’re very affordable, starting at just $7. My favorite pizza is the ‘BBQ CHKN’, which is topped with chicken, banana peppers, mozzarella and barbecue sauce. If you don’t want pizza, you can also order one of their salads.

Another thing I like about Blaze Pizza is that they have options for every one, they have vegetarian and vegan pizzas, but also gluten free pizzas.

A tip: you can get a free drink by downloading their app.

Super Duper Burgers

For the best burgers, I love going to Super Duper Burgers. Their menu consists of hamburgers, chicken sandwiches, a veggie burger, fries, ice cream cones and milkshakes. They have a really great deal which is a menu consisting of a hamburger, fries and a drink for $8,50. All their food is fresh and made in front of you. They have several locations in San Francisco: in Castro, Downtown, SoMA, Marina and near Oracle Park.

JIJIME
Jijime is a Korean Asian Fusion restaurant on 5524 Geary Boulevard. They have an extended menu with tapas, plates, ramen, bowls and soups. My favorite dish there is soy garlic chicken Jjim, which consists of seasoned chicken, vegetables, glass noodles and white rice. You get a huge plate of food for just $14,50. My friend ordered the gyoza ramen, which was beef bone broth with pork and scallion gyoza. As a starter we shared beef potstickers, a kind of Chinese dumplings filled with beef. You can also order their food online on Postmates, Amazon Restaurants, GrubHub and Doordash.
