11 Oct Never a dull moment

It’s been a while since I’ve updated this blog now, but that’s not because I have nothing worthy to write about. Quite the opposite – there is so much going on all the time that you barely have time to sit down and relax for a moment. But that’s a good thing. I’m here for the experiences and San Francisco definitely has a lot to offer. It’s never a dull moment in this city.

For example, when a friend of mine and I went to grab some burgers we all of a sudden ended up with cocktails and a drag queen show at the same time. Well, the cocktails were our own idea, but the drag queen show was totally unexpected and so amazing! To go to a drag queen show was actually on the list of things I wanted to do while I’m here, so to get one served with burgers and cocktails without knowing about it was pretty cool. Other things I’ve done since my last update is to go see a movie in Dolores Park. They showed Black Panther which I’ve been wanting to see for a while and watching it in the Dolores Park made it that much better.

I also briefly went to see the Blue Angels perform their air show during Fleet Week which was awesome. For once it was actually a clear, sunny and warm day. Absolutely perfect to watch the show and see the Golden Gate Bridge for the first time. Yes, I know I should have seen the bridge sooner as that’s basically the first thing everyone does when they get here. But hey, the bridge is not going anywhere. Though I totally get why people say that you have to see it. It was pretty amazing. I was very stoked when we first got there and now I’m kind of obsessed with it. I will definitely go back to see it again.
