19 Dec New Year’s Resolutions
So, we’re in the throes of finals but since the new year is just a few weeks away I thought I would share my new year’s resolutions with you. I don’t usually make resolutions, but San Francisco has made me re-evaluate a lot of aspects of my life and I think it has proven what I can achieve when I set my mind to it. I really didn’t think I could be as happy as I am now.
- Get a new commitment. As much as I’ve loved blogging, I feel a new commitment would let me meet lots of new people. SFSU has really improved my social skills.
- Travel! We’re planning on going Louisiana and Florida next summer. I’ve never been to the south before so am really excited for this trip with my friends. Plus it’s a nice thing to look forward to. Helps stave off the finals exhaustion.
- Use the Mashouf Wellness Center more. I love the sauna and feel like I’ve not used it as much as I would like.
- Get more into the creative arts scene in San Francisco. I’d love to be a writer when I am older.
- Make the most of turning 21! I’ll be legal, baby! I’m excited to attend the IEECs TGIT and see some of the City’s much-vaunted cocktail bars.
- Apply myself to my work more. I really want to get a 4.0 GPA (whatever that really means, the movies have told me I need one, though)!
