One of my favourite spots for a lazy lunch, or brunch, in the city.
It’s well worth the wait when it’s busy – just add your name to the list and head down to Ocean beach, a few minutes walk away, while you wait.

Personally I like the window seats, especially on a sunny day! And the place has one of my favourite features – that you can see into the kitchen. It has a beachy, relaxed vibe but also hints at many of the slightly more sophisticated places I like to hit up when in London.

There’s not loads of choice on the menu, but what is there is beyond delicious.
I went for the grilled cheese, with soup…and warm cider. All three of which I’d happily devour again.

Perfect spot for a mate date, a date date, or just to hang by yourself.
