Don’t know what to do this weekend? Do a day trip to Sacramento! Unlike what some people might think, Sacramento is the capital of California (and not Los Angeles) and full of very nice places to visit. I recommend taking a bus from downtown in the morning and spend the day there. You can visit the old town of Sacramento (a must-see as it looks like a movie set from the gold rush!), the railroad museum and also don’t forget to go check out the California State Capitol Museum (even if you don’t go in, it’s a very beautiful building).
