San Francisco: Interlude – Coffee Shops

Having a room-mate is a new experience and, although, it has impacted some of my introverted nature, other parts of it have been scratched away by asserting myself more and just participating in general life, I do find a need to get myself out of that space sometimes. As I’m sure everyone does. Having a mattress on the floor in a wardrobe with the tiniest Ikea desk doesn’t exactly make for a conducive working environment. I seem to find myself working in coffee shops a lot of the time. Looking through photos I’ve posted on social media anyone can guess the ones I frequent the most. The cafes nearest my house, The Fog Lifter and Java on Ocean, are two of my favourites and depending on my mood impacts which one I’ll choose. I would highly recommend both for a great independent coffee shop experience and a really nice group of people working there. Both are quirky and different to one another offering food and drinks of all sorts and pretty much everything made fresh there. Give them a try if you live in area. Other than that, if you want to go for a chain, the ever reliable Peets is always a good option, and you can find one on almost every corner in the city.
