Santa Fe Glassblowin

Santa Fe is a fantastic nook in the belt in the land of the free. The first interaction with Santa Fe’e’ins (?) was walking in to what i assumed was a corner store to ask for directions to a particular dive bar. I was met with an impenetrable haze of cigar smoke, and have since learned that tobacco is a source of pride for this city. After a few bevvo’s at a establishment that must’ve hired vandals for the wallpaper and feline corpse composers for their bar playlist, we were told to head down a particular road that snaked its way out of town and held many surprises, all of which the publican refused to reveal. Well, the road indeed held many surprises but the most significant of which was walking into a nondescript cottage and finding a full blown (lol) glassblower workshop, complete with live workings. Upon entry, we were offered a bananna (quite strangeley) and invitied to sit and watch the artist do his work. And work he did, what was initially a glowing blob of hotness was quite quickly fashioned into an ornate…unicorn horn?

Santa Fe, go for the darts, stay for the glass.
