SFMOMA experience

As an art lover, how not to go to the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art? I mean… if you are a fan like me or you are just interested in developing your culture, you definitely have to go to SFMOMA.

First of all, the architecture. When you arrive in front of this massive and impressive building, you’re just stunning. You are in the middle of the financial district, surrounded by countless high buildings, and you just find this amazing graphic brickwork with a striking central rotunda lost in the middle of the street. I literally stayed more than 10 min just to contemplate this impressive façade.

Secondly, when you enter inside, you find this gigantic space, and you know you will enjoy. Even the inside design is perfect, white, full of light, with huge rooms (thanks to that because this museum is always crowded).

There is A LOT of different exhibitions with so many various artists, styles and art techniques. I found this place so inspiring and full of creativity. There are so many works that you will inevitably find something you like.

The monumental complex is interspersed with verdant terraces and stunning views of the financial district’s buildings.

Well, if you liked this little description of my SFMOMA experience I really recommend you to go there and make your own judgment!

There is a very beautiful and interesting temporary exhibition (March 11–May 29, 2017) of Matisse-Diebenkorn with beautiful paintings of the French painter, it worth it!
